- Define Objectives and Specifications
- Ensure understanding of client's business and culture.
Liaise with both Human Resources, Hiring Manager/s and/or pertinent management teams.- Secure client consensus on position's scope and responsibilities, compensation package, reporting relationships and profile of the desired executive.
- Develop the search plan.
- Identifying and Assessing Candidates
- Identify, confirm target sources utilizing database and network of specific industry contacts.
- Identify viable candidates.
- Stringent screening and evaluating candidates.
- Stringent interviewing process completed.
- Completing 'short list' of candidates.
- Prepare in-depth profiles and reports on each candidate's skills, key attributes, compensation packages.
- Interviews
- Facilitate/organize candidate interviews.
- Obtain feedback from client and candidate.
- Conduct reference and/or requested background/other checks.
- Confer with client re: selected final list of candidates.
- Facilitate necessary additional rounds of candidate interviews.
- Select Executive
- Conduct finalist interview.
- Negotiate salary, bonus, benefits, i.e. total compensation package.
- Facilitiate confirmation of verbal acceptance.
- Facilitiate, if necessary, expediting written offer agreement to be signed.
- Follow Up
- Ensure smooth transition for executive.
- Ensure client satisfaction.
- Conduct follow up calls with both client and candidate over a 6-month period.
